In this “bake along” we will be making a traditional Christmas fruit cake. I will take you through each stage from double lining a tin, soaking the fruit to making the perfect batter. I will also explain the aftercare of the cake – how to store and how to feed it.
The class will run for 1-1.5 hours. Your cake will need a maximum of 4.5 hours to bake, so you will need to make sure you are home when it needs to come out of the oven!
Once you have booked in I will send you a list of all the ingredients and equipment needed, as well as the Zoom link. All ingredients need to be pre-weighed so we can all bake along together.
The style of the class is a “bake along”. I will allow plenty of time for you to bake with me in real-time and ask any questions that may come up along the way.
